It is our hope to make High Point Christain School as affordable as possible for families who desire a Christian education for their children.

HPCS works hard to balance the goal of making tuition as affordable as possible with the responsibility to operate the school on sound financial principals.

Therefore, multiple tuition assistance options are available for families who qualify, and are outlined below.

Wisconsin parental choice program (WPCP)

Families who meet certain income requirements may qualify for free tuition.  More information about the WPCP can be found here.

Needs-Based Financial Aid

The HPCS Scholarship/Financial Aid Fund has been established to assist families who qualify for tuition assistance, and have not been accepted into the WPCP.  Our financial aid is needs-based, and is based on a family's household income.  HPCS uses a third party FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment* to help determine who qualifies for financial aid.

First round applications will be reviewed in early May, please submit applications by the last Friday in April to be considered in this first round.

Variable Tuition

Variable Tuition is designed for those families with multiple children that may not qualify for the Needs-Based Financial Aid, or have not been accepted into the WPCP, but would benefit from slightly reduced tuition.  This helps make an education at HPCS affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise join our school community.  HPCS uses a third party, FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment* to help determine who qualifies for variable tuition.

First round applications will be reviewed in early May, please submit applications by the last Friday in April to be considered in this first round.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. If you are unsure which program is right for your family, complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, and a member of the Financial Aid Committee will be in touch with you.  You may also call our office (608-836-7170) with additional questions.

It is not possible for a family or the school to estimate the tuition level for which a family qualifies without the completion of the FGAA application.  Applications are submitted directly to FGAA, a third party agency.  FGAA evaluates the application based on criteria set by the school and makes a recommendation to the schools Financial Aid Committee.  Families are notified of the tuition level for which they qualify from the school’s financial office.
Unfortunately, the school is not always able to provide Variable Tuition or full Need Based Financial Aid to every deserving student.  We work within the available resources to make Christian education accessible to as many students and families as possible.
Yes. You can apply for enrollment at HPCS here.

Completing an application for Variable Tuition or Need Based Financial Aid does not affect the re-enrollment or admission process.  Regardless of financial need, parents should initiate the re-enrollment or admission process as early as possible.  Families may apply for Variable Tuition or Need Based Financial Aid through FGAA only after they have applied for re-enrollment or admission to the school.  Once you have received confirmation that your re-enrollment (current students) or application (new students) has been processed, you may apply for Variable Tuition or Need Based Financial Aid through FGAA.

If you have additional questions, contact our Director of Admissions.

Typically within 2 weeks of providing all required information to our confidential third party service.

The cost to apply for Variable Tuition or Need Based Financial Aid is $35.

Additional available discounts include those available to High Point Church members, Pastoral Ministry, and High Point Christian School staff.

*FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment

HPCS uses FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment (FGAA) to process all applications for both the Needs-Based Financial Aid and Variable Tuition. The FGAA application can be found here. Please note that FACTS requires a $40.00 application fee to cover the cost of processing your FGAA application.

In order to complete your application, you will need to provide a W-2 and a Tax Return.  There is also a section for additional comments, where you can include any additional information you would like the Financial Aid Committee to be aware of as your application is reviewed.

FACTS is an independent, third party company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family’s financial need.  HPCS receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents.
